I'm Peggy Neighbors, Administrator of Nazarene Christian School. Let me tell you something about myself and my vision for NCS. 

A native of Pennsylvania, I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Business (I have since earned Administrative Levels 1 & 2 in Early Childhood Education). After marrying Bobby Neighbors, we moved to Asheville where I worked in an Executive Position in the Insurance industry for a number of years.

My love for children was so strong that I stepped away from the business world in order to join the staff of Nazarene Christian School, serving in several capacities including care giver and Kindergarten teacher until 1992 when I was appointed by the Board of NCS to serve as School Administrator. My duties include oversight of our Preschool/Day Care (Ages 2-4), Elementary/Middle School (K-Grade 8), Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.

My love and concern for children (I'm the oldest of seven children, the mother of three and grandmother of 3) has led me to devote my life to the care, spiritual nurture, and Christian education of children. I currently also serve as the Director of Children's Ministries at Asheville First Church of the Nazarene.

At NCS we have a wonderful staff who share my vision to provide safe, loving, nurturing care and training that is Biblical, Christ centered, and positive. Our school age children receive a strong educational foundation with a Christian world view, and all at an affordable price.
